Who We Are
Whiskers & Hopes is a volunteer‑driven cat rescue dedicated to giving stray and abandoned cats a safe path to a better life. We are not a shelter — instead, we find vulnerable cats in the community, bring them into temporary foster homes, and provide the medical care they need to heal and thrive.
Every cat we take in receives essential veterinary support, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, testing, and treatment for illness or injury. Once they are healthy, socialized, and ready, we match them with responsible adopters who can offer lifelong love and stability.
Our mission is simple: rescue, rehabilitate, and prepare cats for adoption, one whisker at a time.
We Need Foster Homes
Foster homes are essential to our mission. Because Whiskers & Hopes is not a shelter, fosters give rescued cats a calm, safe place to recover while helping them avoid overcrowded shelters. This reduces stress, and illness.
To ensure fostering is accessible to everyone, we provide full financial support for the cat’s temporary care, including food, supplies, and all veterinary needs. By opening their homes, our fosters directly expand our ability to rescue more cats and change more lives.
